Kaleil Dov Isaza Tuzman, Managing Director
K. Dov Isaza Tuzman is the managing director of KIT Capital, a company he founded as Recognition Group. With over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Dov has a diverse background as an operator in digital media and real estate development.
From 2007 to 2012, Kaleil served as Chairman and CEO of KIT Digital (now called Piksel). During his tenure, the company saw revenue growth of over 20x, added over 1,000 corporate clients, and initiated trading on the NASDAQ to a market capitalization of $450 million.
Before KIT Digital, Kaleil served as President and COO of JumpTV Inc., a KIT Capital portfolio company and, at the time, the world’s largest broadcaster of international and sports content over the Internet.
Kaleil has also served as Chairman and CEO of KPE, Inc., a leading New York-based digital media agency sold in 2002 for an 11.3x investor return. Before taking over KPE, Kaleil co-founded govWorks, a company backed by KKR and Mayfield that was the subject of the documentary Startup.com.
In the 1990s, Kaleil worked at Goldman Sachs on emerging markets investment banking and risk arbitrage teams in New York, where he co-managed one of the largest pools of capital dedicated to active public equity investments in Latin America.
Kaleil has also been a member of US political and trade missions to Colombia and Mexico, an advisor to the World Bank’s e-government Gateway Development Project, and a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He has been a commentator on digital business trends for CNBC and National Public Radio. He has been featured in numerous publications, including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week, Forbes, the LA Times, and Fortune Small Business. Kaleil was named one of Hispanic Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Hispanics and is the author of The Entrepreneur’s Success Kit: A 5-Step Lesson Plan to Create and Grow Your Own Business.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University with a degree in Government and a certificate in Latin American Studies and has studied International Relations at El Colegio de México. Kaleil is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese and proficient in Russian.
Ricardo Cidale, Investment Partner and Head of Corporate Development
With a track record of driving organizational turnarounds and building high-performing teams, Ricardo Cidale is a seasoned leader in corporate development and fundraising. Based in Austin, Texas, Ricardo has a global perspective and has successfully led markets in the US, Latin America, and Europe. He is skilled at establishing key partnerships, influencing diverse groups, and finding innovative and strategic solutions to problems, even when working with limited resources.
In addition to his experience as a serial entrepreneur, having built, merged, and sold companies such as LabOne Systems, OTT Networks, and UUX Systems, Ricardo has also excelled as a senior corporate executive. He has led multinational divisions at companies like Hewlett Packard, Dell, and RealNetworks, managing P&Ls of over $200MM and leading teams of hundreds, including two computer manufacturing facilities in Brazil. As an experienced manager, Ricardo inspires and leads by consensus, creating collaborative work environments where failures are viewed as learning opportunities.
Ricardo holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in structural engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as an MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management and a master’s degree in corporate governance from Instituto Brasileiro da Mercados de Capitais. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Ricardo is also an active volunteer judge and mentor for the US MassChallenge accelerator, and a published international author and photographer.
Rosario Davi, Chief Operating Officer
As the chief financial officer of KIT Capital, Rosario is responsible for managing internal operations, helping to shape the company’s overall strategy, and leading the firm’s North American business. In addition, he heads the Financial Advisory and Restructuring Services practices.
With over 20 years of experience at KIT Capital, Rosario has led numerous financial advisory assignments and played a crucial role in many of the company’s direct investments in technology and media assets. He is an expert in recapitalization, debt restructuring, forensic accounting, litigation management, and asset recovery.
Previously, Rosario served as the corporate development manager for KIT portfolio company KIT Digital (now known as Piksel) and focused on capital restructuring and acquisition initiatives. He also held the position of corporate development manager at KIT Capital portfolio company JumpTV, where he previously served as general manager of Africa and the Caribbean. Before joining KIT Capital, Rosario worked as an operations and management consultant in the business services industry.
Rosario has served on the board of directors of various public and privately held businesses, including Servador, Logimetrics, and Litigation Management Group. He holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Rutgers University and is proficient in Sicilian Italian and Spanish
Clarena Mulett Mogollón, Senior Project Manager & Owner’s Representative, Viceroy Cartagena
As Senior Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for the Convento Obra Pia Hotel & Resort initiative, Clarena is responsible for overseeing the entire project in collaboration with key investors, strategic stakeholders, and leading architectural firm Barrera & Barrera. On behalf of KIT Capital, she also assists in sourcing and acquiring real estate in Colombia.
Clarena is a civil engineer with expertise in project management, specifically in the restoration of colonial properties on the Atlantic coast of Colombia. She has also worked on energy and construction projects as a project manager and engineer for the Colombian government. Clarena holds a master of science in engineering from Universidad del Norte in Colombia.
Nataly Arenas Dominichetti, Colombia Branch Manager
In her role as a COO for Colombia, Nataly oversees ongoing business operations within the Branch in Colombia, she is responsible for the administrative office and provides legal advisory to the office as well.
Prior to joining Kit Capital, Nataly worked for “Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio” and Banco AV Villas as an external attorney. She has more than a 7 years of legal advisor experience about corporate law and incorporation entities and non-profit organizations.
Nataly is a licensed attorney of corporate law and speak fluent Spanish and English.
Alexander Henao Vergara, Resident Architect
Alex graduated from San Buenaventura University, Cartagena, and has more than 4 years of experience in civil works and architectural design projects, remodeling, hospital civil works, Ecohoteles and office complexes.
Alex is passionate about continuous learning in 3D modeling programs, rendering, plans and the creation of designs that are characterized by being innovative both technically and aesthetically.
Currently, Alexander is currently working as a resident architect in the Obra Pia project, performing
architectural design work, control and monitoring of work.
Nicolás Santamaría Sánchez, Advisor, Architecture and Urban Planning
In his role at KIT Capital as an architect and urban planner, Nicolás is responsible for the ongoing development of architectural plans and technical designs for the Viceroy Cartagena project, as well as nearby urban planning and coordination with the local zoning commission.
Prior to joining KIT Capital, Nicolás worked for Inmobiliaria General Colombiana SAS in the design and the development of real estate and commercial projects in the city of Cartagena, including the project “Infinitum Cartagena”, which is currently under construction.
Nicolás holds a masters of advanced architecture degree with an emphasis on design and urban planning from Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (Spain). Nicolás is fluent in English and Spanish.
Katerine Hernandez Cogollo, Public Accountant
In her role as a public accountant she collaborates with KIT Capital finance and accounting department in Colombia, Katherine is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of financial controls, financial reports IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), budgets, internal audit, tax returns and compliance.
Katerine has more than 5 years of work experience, she has worked in administrative and accounting areas in private entities.
Katerine is a licensed professional in public accounting from the Corporación Universitaria Regional del Caribe.
